Topbox, Zara, Holt Renfrew, and a bit of shopping.

Hello !

I received my first Topbox about a week ago, but I didn't want to post it until I had a chance to check out the nail polish. I finally got around to it, and I really love the colour!

The inside of the box:

The contents:
Make up forever's Pro Finish, B.Kamins's Nutrient replacement cream Kx, and Deborah Lippmann.

My favourite product from the box, the Deborah Lippmann red in "Since I fell for you."

Here it is on my nails:

It's actually really pretty! A bit dark for summer though, I'm probably going to put it away for now and take it out in fall/winter.

I also got something else in the mail. My first Zara package!
I got a simple t-shirt that I've been eyeing for awhile. I was surprised to see that it was under "special prices," hopefully Zara's upcoming sale will be many good things on their website! (#dearcanada #shoponline !)

Now that I am finished with school, I have to start looking for a job (or jobs) to pay off OSAP and to pay my parents back for all their help. Unfortunately, that means I have to spend some of their money to help me look appropriate for work. Luckily, over the weekend Club Monaco had a sale and I was able to purchase some dress pants and a blazer. How cute is the packaging, the note, and the specialized Club Monaco box!

During a trip to Yorkdale, I had purchased Holt Renfew's Spring 2013 Beauty Bag.
The bag wasn't as nice as the years before, but I guess I can use it for different purposes.
From the Holt website "The Holts Beauty Bag comes complete with a removable floral pouch, fold-over snaps, 13 deluxe miniatures of our favourite beauty essentials, and a $10 beauty voucher to go towards your next purchase at Holts."

The bags came in purple, blue and gray; personally I thought the blue and gray made the bag look a bit "dirty" and used, and that it could be easily dirtied.

It contains (L to R, Top to Bottom):
Pouch
Oribe Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream 7ml
Oribe Creme for Style 7ml
~~Chantecaille Magnolia, Jasmine, and Lily Healing Emulsion 8ml
Bottega Veneta Eau De Parfum 1.2ml
$10 Gift Card for future purchase
mini pouch
~~
Laura Mercier Universal Invisible Loose Setting Powder 1g
Deborah Lippman Polish in Daytripper 8ml
Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle & UV Damage Corrector 7ml
Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator 7ml
Molton Brown Heavenly Gingerlily Moisture Bath & Shower 30ml
Lancome Hypnose Volume Mascara in Excessive Black 4ml
NARS Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base 2.8g
Sisley Gentle Make-Up Remover 30ml
~~
Laura Mercier Mini Fan Brush

Of course, one of the main factors for purchasing this beauty bag was for the nail polish!
The Deborah Lippmann (mini) nail polish is in "Daytripper" and it's a pretty bright pinkish-coral.
I took a picture with indoor lighting, and one outside with natural light.

(I apologize for not realizing that I hadn't cleaned up my pinky!)

I would say that, although it was more expensive this year ($35 vs. $25 in previous years), it had considerably more samples than before. It's not a bad price; it's perfect as gifts, for traveling or even just to try out new products.

Lastly, I bought this Blue Jays tshirt from Victoria Secret - Pink. I haven't been paying attention to sports much, but I think I'm beginning to really enjoy watching it, the atmosphere of all the fans cheering on their home team is just so ... empowering? I'm not sure what the word is, but it makes me happy to be part of Toronto's fans!
(It also came with a Blue Jays doggie! hehehe)

Happy shopping,
- Aggie.
